Men's Basketball Team Headed to National Championship

BCC's men's basketball team won the National Junior College Athletic Association Region 10 Division One Championship in Fort Mill, SC last weekend. They now move on to the National Tournament in Hutchinson, KS. The dates of the tournament are March 16-21. Of the 213 NJCAA Division One schools, BCC is one of sixteen that have earned the right to play in the national championship tournament. They are only the second school from the North Carolina Community College System to ever get this opportunity and are attempting to be the first North Carolina Community College to win a game in the tournament.
