Continuing Education – Fire/Rescue

Fire Service Training is delivered directly to individual fire departments. Training held in local fire departments allows personnel to utilize equipment they will actually use in controlling fires. Fire Service classes include:

FIP – 5570 TR – Agriculture Rescue

This is a NC OSFM Certification Course, Attendants MUST have TR-General, TR-VMR, and Hazardous Materials Level 1 Responder. Completion of this course will transfer to NFPA 2013 Certification Update.  Class is limited to 30 Students, Please email Battalion Chief Brandyn Smith at brandyn.smith@lelandfirerescue.com to Preregister. FIP-3601 EVD Emergency Vehicle Driver

Boiling Spring Lakes Fire Rescue:  3059 George II Hwy, Southport, NC
This course deals with the safe operation of emergency vehicles, driving skills, legal implications of emergency driving and departmental standard operating procedures.  This is a NC Fire and Rescue Commission certification course.

FIP-3714 Fire Chief 101
June 25, 2016  |  9am-1pm & 2pm-6pm
This class will satisfy the 9S insurance inspection criteria as specified by the North Carolina Administrative Code. This is a NC Fire and Rescue Commission certification course.  The 2015 4 Hour Update will be 0900-1300, and the remainder of the class will be for students who do not currently have Chief 101 Certification.
