Borrowing Books from Other Libraries
If the BCC library is not able to fulfill your research needs it is possible to get material from other North Carolina Community College Libraries through Interlibrary loan. We can request books from most of the North Carolina Community College Libraries and Universities. This can be done by placing a hold using the library catalog or by asking one of the library staff to place a hold for you. ILL materials usually arrive in 3-5 business days and may be checked out for three weeks. However, it is important to note that you may not be able to renew books depending on the loaning college’s policy. In addition, some material requested may be loaned (New best sellers and some Audio books). Overdue ILL materials are $1.00 per day.
