The Esthetics Technology curriculum provides competency-based knowledge, scientific/artistic principles and hands-on fundamentals associated with the art of skin care. The curriculum provides a simulated salon environment which enables students to develop manipulative skills.
Course work includes instruction in all phases of professional Esthetics Technology, business/human relations, product knowledge, and other related topics.
The Esthetics Technology program includes 600 instructional and clinical hours as required by the N.C. Board of Cosmetic Arts Examiners. In addition to comprehensive lectures, students spend the final 300 hours of the program in practical training. This program is also designed for those already working in the industry who wants to upgrade their skills. The $1,160 fee is divided between the first and second semester which includes registration, books, esthetics kit and uniform. Students receive intensive training as skin care therapists. Licensed estheticians work as:

- Cosmetics Buyers
- Cosmetic Researchers
- Medical Estheticians
- Esthetics Instructors
