BCC Congratulates Recent Beauty and Wellness Program Graduates

photos of the most recent nail technology and esthetics graduatesThe Beauty and Wellness Program at Brunswick Community College congratulates its most recent Esthetician and Nail Technology graduates who will soon sit for the NC State Board Examination.

The Esthetics Technology program includes 600 instructional and clinical hours as required by the NC Board of Cosmetic Arts Examiners. In addition to comprehensive lectures, students spend the final 300 hours of the program in practical training. Students receive intensive training as skin care therapists. Licensed estheticians work as: Makeup Artists, Cosmetics Buyers, Cosmetic Researchers, Medical Estheticians, and Esthetics Instructors. The next Esthetics course begins January 7, 2022, and runs on Fridays and Saturdays, from 8 AM – 4:30 PM.
The Nail Technology course includes 300 hours of learning the latest procedures in a hands-on, fast-paced salon environment. Students gain valuable experience working with clients, providing a complete range of manicure and pedicure services including acrylic overlay, sculpting, and free hand nail art. The next Nail Technology course begins January 10, 2022, and takes place Monday through Thursday from 5-10 PM.
