IMG_0393Bolivia, NC – Brunswick Community College is proud to announce and welcome Morgan Kirby as the women’s volleyball coach.

Entering her first season leading the Dolphin Volleyball program, Coach Kirby comes from Mt. Pleasant, Michigan where she was the head coach for Ithaca High School for two seasons in addition to coaching club volleyball.

“What brought me to Brunswick CC was honestly a leap of faith. I applied for this job several months ago, and the process happened all so quickly. It sounds cliché but I think there’s a reason I came to Brunswick, and I am so grateful for the opportunity. Living on the beach isn’t a bad thing either! I am excited to build this program and I am hoping for another successful season for the Dolphins.”

Kirby graduated from Belmont Abbey College (Belmont, North Carolina), where she played four years of volleyball at the Division II level, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sports Management with a minor in Psychology.  She is currently working towards her Masters in Sports Administration from Central Michigan University (Mt. Pleasant, Michigan).

In addition to coaching, Coach Kirby also works in the athletic department at Brunswick Community College.
