Brunswick Community College Awards 60 Workforce Credentials

On Saturday, May 15, Brunswick Community College (BCC) awarded 60 workforce credentials to students that completed the electrical pathway during the Spring 2021 semester. Students participated in electrical theory and hands-on training with equipment used in residential and commercial construction. Credentials included OSHA, Greenlee Conduit Bending, Greenlee Knockout, 3M Personal Protective Equipment, and Green Construction through the National Center for Construction Education & Research (NCCER). Brunswick Community College was recently recognized nationally as a “School on The Rise” by the National Coalition of Certification Centers (NC3). The award ceremony demonstrates BCC’s ongoing commitment to affordable and accelerated short-term training in trades education.  Businesses are encouraged to contact Marilyn Graham at BCC’s Leland Center (910)-755-8561 to receive information regarding internships for students completing the electrical pathway.
