BCC Signs Agreement with University of Mt. Olive

BOLIVIA, NC – On Friday, October 18th, Brunswick Community College (BCC) administration met with the President of the University of Mt. Olive (UMO), Dr. David Pool, to sign a memorandum of understanding to define how UMO will offer its courses at a reduced tuition rate to Brunswick Community College students and employees.

Per the agreement, UMO will waive application fees and offer a ten percent (10%) or thirty percent (30%) tuition scholarship to eligible Brunswick Community College employees and former students who attend classes online, at UMO’s main campus or at a UMO Education Service Center. Participants must be enrolled in a minimum of twelve (12) units per semester at the undergraduate level or nine (9) units per semester at the graduate level to receive the thirty percent (30%) tuition scholarship; participants enrolled in less than the stated minimums will receive the ten percent (10%) tuition scholarship. The tuition scholarship applies only to tuition, and no other fees (other than the application fee) will be discounted.

University of Mount Olive is a private, liberal arts institution dedicated to the total development of its students in an environment nurtured by Christian values.
