The Dinah E. Gore Fitness & Aquatics Center offers NO CONTRACT memberships designed to suit the needs of all users. Annual, Monthly and Pool Only memberships are available for youth, students, adults, couples, families, and seniors. Special Rates are available for BCC Students and Employees, Brunswick County Government Complex Employees and Corporate Wellness Members.

Equipment Orientation: Let our staff show you how to effectively and safely use our equipment. Receive advice and guidance from one of our fitness professionals to ensure you start your exercise program right!
Body Composition Analysis: A one-on-one assessment of body composition is great for those looking to lose inches or gain muscle mass. Evaluations measure weight, Body Mass Index (BMI), Waist-to-Hip Ratios (WHR) and skinfold measurements to determine body fat percentage. This is an excellent way to track your progress!
Fitness Consultation: This is an opportunity to meet with a qualified fitness specialist to develop your plan for improved fitness. Through discussion to determine your goals, possible barriers, and other factors, we will work with you to design a personalized action plan and answer any questions.

What is SilverSneakers?
SilverSneakers is a fun, energizing program that helps older adults take greater control of their health by encouraging physical activity and offering social events. SilverSneakers is a benefit offered to members of many Medicare plans across the U.S. If you are 65 years of age or older and part of a Medicare health plan or a group retiree you may already have the SilverSneakers benefit, Renew Active or a discounted membership through AARP Medicare Supplement. Eligible participants receive a FREE or discounted membership to the Fitness & Aquatics Center.
1. Contact your Medicare Health Plan Provider to see if they participate in the SilverSneakers, Renew Active, or AARP Medicare Supplement program. Or, stop to the facility and we can check your eligibility.
2. Secure your unique member number.
3. Bring your member number to the facility and sign-up!
