The 2013 Dancing with the Stars event will take place at 6 p.m. Friday, August 9, 2013 at the Dinah E. Gore Fitness Center on the campus of Brunswick Community College.
Sponsored by the Foundation of BCC to raise money for student scholarships.
Fifteen couples dance their shoes off! Community members (STARS) and area dance professionals (PROS) work together to provide an exciting evening of entertainment to raise student scholarship money!

We are excited to announce Dancing with the Brunswick Stars 2013: A Southern Inspiration will be held on Friday, August 9, 2013 at the Dinah Gore Fitness and Aquatic Center. Our theme will showcase the best of Southern heritage and hospitality.
We truly appreciate the support and generosity the Brunswick County community has shown in the past. We will continue to dazzle and delight while keeping our eyes on the fundamental goal: Scholarships for Students. In today’s economy, the community college system is experiencing budget cuts which mean less support from the state. As this is the Foundation’s primary event fundraiser, we value your important role as a sponsor and say thank you for your support. The staff of the Foundation is witness to student hardships every day, yet also aware of their resilience and determination. Education makes a difference; you make a difference.
There are many ways you can make a difference, too, and be part of this event. Your sponsorship dollars will bring awareness for your business and provide a scholarship for a student. With each level of sponsorship are certain benefits. You can also have a scholarship established in your name. Our dancers also need your votes which translate into scholarship dollars, too.
