Adult Basic Education

Adult Basic Education (ABE) provides basic skills preparation for adults who are not ready to begin High School Equivalency materials. ABE focuses on developing the skills to get a job, including reading, math, writing, and critical thinking. ABE instruction introduces the student to the contemporary learning environment and prepares the adult learner for higher level instruction and assessments along the pathway to earning a High School Equivalency or Adult High School Diploma.
