The mission of the Veteran’s Club of Brunswick Community College is to bring together students, faculty and staff of Brunswick Community College (BCC) in support of Veterans at BCC. We as the Veterans Club will meet once a month in order to discuss upcoming events and work forward to creating a mutual support network between club members and veteran friendly organizations. We will work alongside various supporting agencies outside of BCC to create a network of veteran friendly sources for our club members. As a service oriented group, we promote good citizenship and patriotism on and off campus, leading students to excellence. Committing ourselves to an annual scholarship fund for The Veterans Club of BCC is our secondary goal. The Scholarship money will go to Veterans and will be chosen by the same selection board that the school uses to determine awards for all other scholarship recipients. Fund raising for this goal is to take place at events hosted by BCC or events hosted by the Veterans Club of BCC, on or off campus.
Members must be military veterans, to have served and been released from active duty without regard to discharge status. We accept currently enrolled Brunswick Community College students, online or traditional, as well as Alumni. Membership is free.
Meetings are held the first Tuesday and Wednesday of every month – Tuesday at 2:00 pm and Wednesday at 4:30 pm.
