Skipper Named Student of the Month

July 27, 2022 — As a Success Coach and Retention Specialist for BCC, Tyler Horvath knows a success story when he sees one. That’s what he saw in Jeneane Skipper and why he nominated her as BCC’s Student of the Month for June 2022. 

Jeneane completed her GED at BCC in 1999, and began curriculum classes in 2000. Soon afterward, life’s unpredictability soon took Jeneane out of school for the next 20 years. Because she remained determined to reach her goals, Jeneane re-enrolled in the fall of 2021. She is now a stellar student, averaging a GPA of 3.5 or better. Jeneane is taking two classes this summer and plans to graduate in December.
