MAT 273 – Calculus III

Prerequisites: MAT 272, minimum Grade of "C" Corequisites: None

This course is designed to develop the topics of multivariate calculus.  Emphasis is placed on multivariate functions, partial derivatives, multiple integration, solid analytical geometry, vector valued functions, and line and surface integrals.  Upon completion, students should be able to select and use appropriate models and techniques for finding the solution to multivariate-related problems with and without technology. This course has been approved for transfer under the CAA and ICAA as a general education course in Mathematics (Quantitative) for the AA & AS degrees.  This is a Universal General Education Transfer Component (UGETC) course in Mathematics (Quantitative) for the AE & AS degrees.
