Brunswick Community College (BCC) proudly welcomes Ann Hutchens Landis to its Board of Trustees. Landis officially joined the Board after being sworn in by Chair Alan Holden at the Board’s January meeting. Landis was appointed for this role by the Board of County Commissioners.

Landis was born and raised in Wilkesboro, NC. “Ann has been part of the BCC family for many years, and I could not be more pleased to welcome her as a Board Trustee,” said BCC President Gene Smith. “Her commitment and dedication to our college and community is unwavering. I look forward to the many contributions she will surely make as a Trustee.”

In addition to her work as an educator, Ann gives back to her community in many ways, including her most recent role as The Foundation of BCC Board Vice President. Other roles include Holden Beach Chapel Trustee Secretary, Nominating Committee Chair, and Holden Beach Chapel Trustees Past President. Landis is involved with the General Federation of
